Yesterday, I posted a recipe for Nut Burgers. The wonderful nutmeat recipe can be used in place of any ground meat, in just about any recipe. The nutty taco is actually my favorite way to prepare it. Switch up the spices to suit any recipe you wish to try it in. I typically season it with a little cumin and chili powder, because it is so versatile, but there is no limit to how you can change the flavors. See below, how it crumbles like hamburger meat to perfectly fill a taco… or mini-taco-appetizers. Post a comment about how you will use the nutmeat!

Heat a little olive oil over medium heat, add nutmeat and crumble like you would ground beef, until browned.↓

Add a little browned nutmeat to mini, scoop-able chips. Top with cheese (vegan) if desired. Bake in a 400° F oven, on a cookie sheet, for about 3-4 minutes,
or until cheese is melted. Top with lettuce,
sprouts and tomatoes.↓
